Red Belly Gourmet products are organically grown, handmade & bottled at Magic Hill, a sustainable property located in the foothills of the Barrington Tops, in the upper Hunter region of NSW. From the top of Magic Hill you look east across valleys & mountains. Often in winter, thick fog blankets the valleys below. On hot summer days a nearby waterfall, located underneath the canopy of a rainforest provides welcome relief. These contrasting seasons create a superb environment for the produce that we grow, nurture & hand harvest. The boardering conservation area provides excellent biodiversity necessary on any organic farm. It also provides constant birdsong from dawn to dusk, & makes an ideal & relaxing home & work environment. Our farm based business commenced in 2003. We have been steadily expanding our growing area. We received our organic certification in June 2006 with the Organic Growers of Australia, part of the BFA group.
SYDNEY ROYAL FINE FOOD SHOW AWARDS 2005 we received two bronze medals for Eggplant & Sweetpepper Relish & Rhubarb & Lime Compote.
2006 we received a GOLD medal for our chilli jam, we received three bronze medals for Sweet Chilli Sauce, Onion & Thyme Marmalade & Rhubarb & Lime Compote.
2009 we received a Silver medal for our unfiltered Shiraz vinegar & a bronze for our Onion & Thyme marmalade.
